We had a great day on the lake, the weather was beautiful and we raised close to $9000 to be split between 3 United Ways. The bass bite was a little slower for me than it was last time but the quality of the fish is improving dramatically. We are not seeing the scrawny thin fish with big heads that we had been seeing, they were full bodied and frisky as ever. The biggest bass caught was 7.95lbs.  Weighed by Team Oliver. A few others reported that they lost fish that appeared to be 9 to 10lbs. The crappie bite was in full effect, a number of anglers filled coolers, the largest weighing it at 1.25lbs. weighed by Team Rothenbach. Can you say huge catfish! The catfish were biting for those that were crappie fishing, a number of them were taken from the lake including a few in the 20lb. class. Overall it was a great day, we look forward to seeing everyone on November 14 for the final tournament of 2015. Registration is open!! Thank you for your support of the United Way.
