Another successful day on the lake! Despite the weather being a little cooler and the fish not biting like usual we were able to raise over $9,000 in donations for United Way! That brings us to a grand total of well over $77,000 for the year!
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support at these events. It truly takes a village to make these tournaments successful and they would not be the success they are without great participants and coordinators. As usual, we want to thank FPL for their generosity in allowing us to fish at The FPL Cooling Pond at the Parrish Plant.
Although I didn’t have much luck on the lake this weekend there were several of you who did! Big congrats to Barry Bass and his crew for walking away with first prize and a total weight of 17.06lbs. Let’s not forget a close 2nd place winner, Wayne Roberts, with 17lbs and 3rd place winner, Chris McBeath, with 16.31lbs. Great Job everyone! I also want to make special note to the largest bass caught this weekend going to Jason Stibek with a 4.01lb bass!
I look forward to next year and hope to have continued success at these events. See you next year!
